Odourless garlic concentrate delivering the equivalent of 500mg of garlic bulb per softgel (5mg, 100:1 concentrate) without the characteristic odour of raw garlic or standard garlic supplements. Supports cardiovascular health, healthy blood pressure and cholesterol within normal ranges, immune function, and antioxidant defence.

Why Odourless Garlic?

Standard garlic and many garlic supplements release allicin during digestion the compound responsible for garlic’s characteristic pungent odour and body odour that many people find undesirable with daily use. This formula uses a 100:1 concentrated garlic extract processed to convert allicin to stable, odourless organosulfur compounds including S-allylcysteine (SAC) and S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC) preserving the cardiovascular, immune, and antioxidant benefits of garlic while eliminating the odour concern. No garlic breath. No digestive discomfort from odour-active compounds.

What’s Inside

Odourless Garlic (Allium sativum, bulb) QCE 500mg per softgel
5mg, 100:1 concentrate
Garlic is one of the most extensively researched botanicals in the world. The primary bioactive compounds are organosulfur compounds particularly S-allylcysteine (SAC), S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC), and ajoene which support cardiovascular health through multiple mechanisms: helping maintain healthy blood vessel tone, supporting healthy lipid and platelet function, and providing antioxidant protection of cardiovascular tissue. SAC is also among the most bioavailable and stable garlic organosulfur compounds.

Effect of garlic on blood pressure: a systematic review and meta analysis

BMC Cardiovascular Disorders, 2012

This systematic review and meta analysis examined the effect of garlic supplementation on blood pressure across randomized controlled trials. The analysis included trials using garlic powder, aged garlic extract, and garlic oil preparations in adults with elevated or normal blood pressure. Garlic supplementation was associated with a statistically significant reduction in systolic blood pressure compared to placebo across included trials, with the effect most pronounced in participants with elevated baseline blood pressure. The proposed mechanisms center on garlic's organosulfur compounds particularly S-allylcysteine (SAC) and ajoene which support healthy endothelial function and nitric oxide bioavailability, contributing to healthy blood vessel tone. The authors concluded that garlic supplementation may be a useful adjunct for supporting healthy blood pressure within normal ranges in adults.

Garlic for the prevention of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in hypertensive patients

Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, 2012

This Cochrane systematic review examined the evidence for garlic supplementation in cardiovascular risk reduction, with a particular focus on lipid profiles and cardiovascular outcomes. Included trials evaluated garlic powder, aged garlic extract, and garlic oil preparations across adults with elevated cardiovascular risk markers. The review found consistent evidence that garlic supplementation was associated with modest but statistically significant reductions in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol compared to placebo across multiple trials, with the effect sustained in trials of 12 weeks or longer. The proposed mechanisms include garlic organosulfur compounds' effects on hepatic cholesterol synthesis and lipid oxidation. The authors noted that garlic is among the most widely studied botanical compounds for cardiovascular risk factor management and concluded that the evidence supports garlic's role in maintaining healthy cholesterol levels within normal ranges as part of a cardiovascular health strategy.

Aged garlic extract modifies human immunity

Journal of Nutrition, 2016

This randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial examined the effects of aged garlic extract (AGE) supplementation on immune cell function and cold and flu symptom severity in healthy adults over 90 days. Participants receiving AGE supplementation showed significantly greater proliferation of natural killer (NK) cells and gamma-delta T cells compared to placebo, indicating enhanced innate and adaptive immune cell activity. AGE-supplemented participants also reported significantly fewer days of illness and reduced symptom severity during the cold and flu season compared to placebo. The authors attributed these effects to AGE's organosulfur compounds particularly S-allylcysteine (SAC) which support immune cell proliferation and activity and provide antioxidant protection of immune cells during periods of oxidative stress.
