Why 80% Carvacrol Matters

Wild oregano oil can range from under 20% to over 80% carvacrol depending on species, growing region, and harvest timing. Standardizing to 80% carvacrol ensures consistent potency in every bottle. MCT Oil as Carrier

Concentrated oregano oil at 80% carvacrol is too potent to take undiluted. MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides from coconut) is used as the carrier to dilute the extract to a safe, practical drop concentration. MCT oil is flavour-neutral, stable, and does not interfere with the oregano oil’s activity. Take drops with water and a small amount of honey or olive oil to further reduce oral and gastric irritation.
